Rules & Policies

To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all guests, all passengers must review and comply with the following rules and policies before participating in a Sunshine and True Crime tour.

Passenger Rules

  1. The person making the reservation agrees to forward the Rules and Conduct acknowledgment link (sent to the email address provided during booking) to ALL members of their party. Each passenger is required to complete the online acknowledgment form prior to participating in the tour.
  2. No passengers under the age of 13 are permitted on any tour. Passengers aged 13–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 years of age or older.
  3. All guests 18 and older must have a valid photo ID.
  4. Published tour times are approximate and may extend up to one (1) hour beyond the scheduled end time due to traffic conditions, weather, road closures, or other operational circumstances.
  5. Guests must arrive at the designated meeting location at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time to allow for safe and timely boarding. Tours will depart no later than 15 minutes after the advertised departure time. Failure to arrive on time may result in forfeiture of your booking without refund.
  6. Passengers are strongly advised to use restroom facilities prior to boarding. Restroom stops during the tour are limited, and Sunshine and True Crime LLC is not responsible for the condition, availability, or accessibility of public restroom facilities.
  7. Food and drinks are not permitted on the bus except for beverages contained in resealable containers. Complimentary bottled water will be provided.
  8. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on all vehicles used by Sunshine and True Crime LLC.
  9. Alcohol, illegal drugs, and weapons of any kind are prohibited on any Sunshine and True Crime LLC vehicle. Any passenger found in possession of these items may be removed from the tour without refund.
  10. Luggage and large personal items are not allowed on the bus. All personal belongings must be able to fit under the passenger’s seat or remain on the passenger’s lap.
  11. Bus seats are standard passenger width. Passengers needing additional space must purchase an extra seat at the time of booking.
  12. Seats may be assigned by staff when tours are near capacity in order to ensure safe and efficient seating arrangements.
  13. Mobile phones must be set to silent during the tour. The use of device speakers, playing videos, games with sound, or other disruptive audio is not permitted.
  14. Passengers may be removed from the tour and must arrange their own transportation if they: (a) disrupt the tour; (b) act disrespectfully toward staff or other passengers; (c) miss designated boarding times; or (d) voluntarily leave the tour before it is completed.
  15. Customers assume responsibility for their own safety at all times when entering, exiting, re-entering, or voluntarily leaving the bus at any stop.
  16. Entering any body of water during tour stops is strictly prohibited.
  17. Sunshine and True Crime LLC is not responsible for vehicles or personal items left behind during the tour.
  18. Sunshine and True Crime LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for safety, conduct, or compliance reasons.
  19. All fares, deposits, and refunds are quoted and payable in United States Dollars (USD).

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  1. A full refund will be issued if a tour is canceled by Sunshine and True Crime LLC.
  2. A full refund will be issued if a Cold Case Tour is canceled at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled departure time, or if a private tour is canceled at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled departure.
  3. A fifty percent (50%) refund will be issued if a Cold Case Tour is canceled at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled departure time, or if a private tour is canceled at least six (6) days prior to the scheduled departure.
  4. No refund will be issued for cancellations made outside of the time frames listed above.
  5. No refund will be issued for late or no-shows.
  6. Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment within ten (10) business days.

By participating in a Sunshine and True Crime tour, all passengers agree to comply with the above rules, conduct policies, and refund terms. Sunshine and True Crime LLC reserves the right to refuse service or remove any passenger from a tour for safety, conduct, or compliance violations.
